The Carpinteria Valley Water District Board of Directors and Staff welcome Ken Stendell as the newly appointed Director to the Water District’s, five-member Board of Directors. Ken is a relatively new resident of Carpinteria arriving to his new home in 2018 with his wife of 46 years from Palm Desert. Ken recently retired from a 35-year career as a general contractor, building commercial buildings in the Palm Desert area. Ken has served on many Boards, Committees, and Commissions. He believes that authentic conversations and collaborative transparent processes are key to making the best choices resulting in the best outcomes.
December 17, 2020 Update: The project has been postponed and will be rescheduled.
Water service will be interrupted to approximately ten residences on Sand Point Rd on Thursday, December 17th, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in order to complete a main extension project. Door tags have been hung at affected residences notifying customers of the scheduled water interruption.

Applications are due by Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at 5:00 P.M.Preparation for replacing a broken water main valve in the 1100 block of Mark Avenue area will begin on Monday, August 3rd. Interruption of water service may be experienced from 10:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 4 through 4 a.m. on August 5, 2020. Notification letters were mailed to affected customers.
