Draft Urban Water Management Plan Available for Viewing

CVWD encourages the community to read, review and comment on the District’s draft Urban Water Management Plan (UWMP) and Water Shortage Contingency Plan (WSCP). To view the draft UWMP without the appendices, click here.

CVWD’s Board of Directors will consider community comments at the public hearing on Wednesday, October 27, 2021.

Submit written comments by 5:00 pm on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 to the attention of Bob McDonald, General Manager, at 1301 Santa Ynez Ave, Carpinteria, CA 93013 or to bob@cvwd.net.

Verbal comments can also be made at the hearing noted above. Upon conclusion of the hearing, the Board of Directors may revise, change, modify, and/or recommend adoption of the 2020 UWMP and WSCP.

The Plans will be considered for adoption at the October 27, 2021 public meeting, immediately following the public hearing.
